More About Me

I am from the small city of Roanoke, Alabama. I have always had a strong desire to give help others. When thinking about a career I decided to be an attorney because attorneys can provide help to people, even when they don’t know they need help. Attorneys are able to provide this help through the legal doctrine of precedence.

I attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville Alabama, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minored in Philosophy. I earned a Juris Doctorate at Maurer School of Law, Indiana University, Bloomington.

I graduated from law school, I moved to Florida, and passed the Florida Bar.

I have always been very close to my Grandmother, one of my biggest inspirations to become an attorney. When she passed away I returned to Alabama and never left.

While living in Alabama, I worked at one of Alabama’s most prestigious black law firms that specialized in Civil Rights Litigation, Chestnut Sanders,&Sanders in Selma, Alabama. One of the firm’s most notable cases was the “Black Farmers Lawsuit. ”When I worked there, I had the privilege of being exposed to and taking part in several different areas of law, such as Personal Injury, Landlord-Tenant, and of course some civil rights cases.

After working at Chestnut, Sanders & Sanders, I took the Alabama bar, moved to Enterprise with my fiancé, and begin practicing law as a court-appointed attorney. During the pandemic, I learned about Laptop Lawyer Lifestyle, thanks to Kara Vaval, and decided to open my own law firm.

I am currently an army of one, with aspirations of becoming many.
